This sweet Downtown St. George session with Astrid and her family felt like the perfect way to welcome spring. We met along Main Street, right in the heart of St. George, Utah, where the trees were full and green and the light slipped beautifully through the branches.
Astrid had shared that she wanted a casual, playful, lifestyle feel, with plenty of candid moments. Downtown worked so well for that. The mix of greenery, historic buildings, and soft pathways gave us lots of variety within a short walk, which kept things relaxed and easy for their little one.
We started in the shade of the trees, where the late afternoon sun created pockets of glowing light on the sidewalks. It was a great spot to let their child explore a bit while we captured those in-between moments that say so much about this stage of life. From there, we wandered toward the grassy areas and flowering bushes, using the warm golden light to frame the three of them together.
What stood out most to me was how naturally they interacted with each other. The session felt less like posing and more like hanging out together downtown, letting the city and the spring colors support their connection as a family.
