This outdoor senior session at Tonaquint Nature Center in St. George, Utah was such a fun way to celebrate a big season of change for Isaac. His mom booked the session to capture both graduation and mission milestones, and Tonaquint gave us a beautiful, relaxed backdrop for it all.

We met in the late afternoon, when the light filtered softly through the trees and wrapped the paths in warm, even shade. That kind of light was perfect for the mix of casual, candid images Isaac wanted, along with a few more traditional portraits for announcements and large prints.

I loved how we were able to move easily between looks: a sharp suit on the tree-lined path, a laid-back outfit by the rustic bridge, and then cap and gown for those classic graduation images. We also incorporated meaningful details from his mission plans, which added a really personal touch to the gallery without ever feeling stiff or overly posed.

Tonaquint Nature Center worked so well for this session because it felt peaceful and green, even right in the middle of the St. George metro area. With just one senior and plenty of room to explore, we had time to let Isaac relax, laugh, and be himself while we created images that marked this exciting next chapter.
