We met this adorable couple at Pioneer Park in St. George, Utah for an anniversary session that felt playful and relaxed from the very beginning. Early spring in Southern Utah gave us a perfect mix of warm sun and soft evening light, with red rock views stretching out over the city.
We started up on the rocks where the sweeping desert backdrop framed their couple photos beautifully. The light skimmed across the landscape and gave everything a golden glow that worked fantastically with their easy, fun energy. It was the kind of setting that made it simple for them to move, laugh, and enjoy the moments together.
As the sun dipped lower, we explored a few quieter corners with greenery and textured rock, which gave us a softer, more intimate feel to balance the big open vistas. Later, we wandered into the nearby park area with paths, buildings, and a small water feature. The mix of natural desert and a more urban park vibe added variety without feeling overly rushed.
